The Great Smokies Review currently accepts work only by students and faculty, past and present, of The Great Smokies Writing Program. Faculty of Great Smokies courses select work to be submitted.
Manuscript formatting: All manuscripts should be in 12-point type, Times New Roman, single-spaced, flush left, extra space left between paragraphs. (See current issue for spacing style, and poets should ignore what does not apply.) Remove all headers and footers, including page numbers. Space breaks should be marked with ellipses (…). The author’s name, address, and e-mail address should appear at the top of the first page. Please include, with submission, a brief biographical note and a comment about the work, including your relationship to the Great Smokies Writing Program.
Timing: Typically, faculty invite selected students to submit their work at the end of the semester.
